A community newspaper, Planet Thane was started for the New Thane areas of Ghodbunder Road. The organization had a successful community paper, Planet Powai. Now they started this one. It is started as a weekly and its third issue 27 August - 02 September 2011 is now on stands. It is priced at Rs.3.

Thank you so much for the post on Planet Thane.It has been started by the same group that runs PLANET POWAI since 2002. They are the pioneers of community newspapers in India. Their format, size and content connects well with its readers. It essentially keeps with the ethos of growing Thane.
